Jason McArtor
Creative Director

The Fearless Leader! A Husband, Dad (x3), Ginger, Iowa Farmboy (get it?), Entrepreneur, and Hawkeye lover. He doesn’t wear rubber boots much any more, but he still knows how to get a job done. When searching for Iowa Graphic Designers, very few are well versed in multiple areas, but running a small team for 15 years has made it possible. Traditional Graphic Design, WordPress, Marketing… You think of a creative discipline and he’s explored it. You’re never too old to learn. Zachary Kern
Senior Designer

Zach is an Illinois transplant with a rather “punny” sense of humor, and a penchant for bold design. Having long been acquainted with Jason, Zach came on board with Farmboy back in late 2011. Bringing a zest for creating fresh work along with his own style, Farmboy hopes to greater diversify our ability to create lasting work in our little design oasis called Des Moines. Bryan Lloyd
Lead Developer

A wearer of many hats, Bryan joined the Farmboy team as their Lead Developer in 2015. Aside from being a web wiz, Bryan brings a certain sense of patriotism as a current member of the Iowa National Guard. When he’s not teaching Crossfit or performing stand-up comedy, he and Zach engage in clever wordplay and puns, having honed their craft as old co-workers at the Apple Store all those years ago.

Kayla Craycraft
Junior Developer

Kayla joined the team in the Spring of 2016 with a background in both Graphic Design and Web Development. Farmboy picked her up fresh after graduation from Des Moines Area Community College and she’s proven to be a quick problem solver and hard worker. Having grown up with several brothers, Kayla is well versed in her teammates frequent movie quotes, bad impressions, smack talk, and WWE references.
