As a web developer intern, you will be expected to learn and grow as a web developer and to assist the web development team with the planning, building, launching, and maintenance of websites.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation of WordPress websites
  • Perform maintenance for client sites including plugin updates and debugging issues
  • Migrate and build out web pages and posts in WordPress
  • Assist with site architecture audits and the creation of site map recommendations
  • Test and validate sites following our QA/QC process
  • Build custom email signatures
  • Develop and launch landing pages and case studies to supplement marketing campaigns
  • Learn, build, create, and ask questions. Build skills and gain the confidence to become an independent and valuable member of the development team

Requirements and Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS (SASS)
    • Need to have an understanding of WordPress 
    • Familiarity with JavaScript (jQuery) and PHP is a plus
    • Familiar with modern UI/UX and web design principles
    • Solid troubleshooting, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies
    • Must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency
    • Must have good communication skills and feel comfortable meeting with clients in person, on the phone, or video conferencing
    • A positive attitude, incredible creative ability, and a relentless drive for excellence
