Farmboy was tasked by the Des Moines Social Club to create branding, award statues, and more for the Greater Des Moines Cloris Leachman Excellence In Theatre Arts Awards, informally known as the Cloris Awards.
This is a special event for those in the Iowa theatre scene, and 2016 made it all the more special as Cloris herself was in attendance to not only celebrate her career but receive the Legendary Lifetime Achievement Award. For one evening, actors, directors, designers, technicians, and long-time supporters of live performance gathered under one roof to honor a hometown icon who went on to conquer stage and screen. The room was packed with stories, laughter, and a few happy tears as clips rolled, colleagues shared memories, and Cloris responded with the same sharp wit and generosity that made audiences fall in love with her in the first place.
